Soji Egbonwon is a seasoned, certified and experienced IT solutions expert and manager with industry experiences in telecommunications, finance, education, services and identity management and passion for strategic information systems planning (SISP). He has acquired years of experience spanning Business-IT alignment, business analysis, application lifecycle management, projects management, software architecture and design and software development in mobile, service, web and windows environments.

He possesses local and international qualifications and certifications in various fields of studies which includes but not limited to the Master of Science from the University of Roehampton, United Kingdom. His professional membership includes Associate Member, Chartered Management Institute (UK), Member, World Business Ideas (WOBI) and has certifications including ITIL v3, Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). He has undergone several trainings including Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Engineering, Business Value of Big Data and Analytics, CMMI for Development v1.3 and Adaptive Testing with Concerto. His inexhaustible technical skills include JAVA, Python, .NET 2.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, AJAX, AngularJS, Apache Web Server, API Integration (REST API, SOAP, XML Web Service), ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core/Pages, Bootstrap, etc.

Prior to his appointment as CTO, he worked with Swift Networks, Softworks Ltd (Telnet subsidiary), Futureshock Big. ltd and Entegration Solutions. He was the Head of Software & Testing, Cyberspace Limited where he architected and led the team that developed the first computer-based testing solution used by JAMB for four years. As applications and operations manager, he managed the software projects used to pass SCAMPI appraisal for Cyberspace CMMI level 3 certification.

As Chams CTO, Soji is responsible for the strategic information systems, IT-business alignment, IT strategy definition and implementation, IT process, governance and control, technology selection and decisions, product and people management. His management skills and technical expertise place him in a vantage point to relate with business and technical teams comfortably.
